Unfortunately, prices of plastics are continuing to climb within the industry, almost universally.
As refineries and plants continue to come back online, the supply continues to be extremely limited for a number of materials, but specifically polypropylene and polyethylene.
Unfortunately, the record highs we're seeing are also being seen in many other commodity materials, such as PVC as well.
Following numerous natural events (such as hurricanes, and more recently winter storms) the supply chain is further constrained, production is still limited, and demands are as high as they have ever been with the increased COVID-19 demand.
Hopefully, additional information into the situation and warnings of pricing increases we've already seen, and will likely continue to see will help plan accordingly as we navigate 2021.
